It’s taken me a long time, but I finally found an athletics specific ticket for St Louis 1904! The track and field events ran from days 242 to 247, so mine is in the middle of the events. Give me some time and I’ll check which races ran that day!
I’m also very happy to have bagged this rare Press ticket for the 1904 Games!

It took some effort, but I finally managed to buy this from an American seller. I'm VERY happy to have bagged this one!
The People's Olympiad was planned to take place in Barcelona as a protest event against the 1936 Summer Olympics being held in Nazi Germany.
Despite gaining the support from some athletes; and most significantly Joseph Stalin's Soviet Union and the Communist International organization, who had also boycotted the Berlin Olympics; the People's Olympiad was never held, as a result of the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War. Note the text at the bottom of this Berlin 1936 ticket; 'Zweite Ausfertigung' literally means 'Second Copy'. This is a reproduced ticket, of some rarity, that almost slipped past me unnoticed.
A rarer 'Athletics' child's ticket for LA 1932 and yet another Mexico City 1968 colour variation26/3/2018 Note the font colour change against the standard stub and the need to use the shorter description of 'Athletics' instead of 'Track & Field', because of the reduced space caused by the need to reference lacrosse.
